A. We do not use any animal by products in any of our gels and are products are not tested on animals.
Q. I've been using SBC for years. My son has recently developed chicken pox and has a particularly nasty one on his face. I was wondering which SBC gel would be best for this to help it heal without leaving a mark - propolis perhaps?
A. The best Gel for your son's chicken pox would be a combination of the Propolis Gel and Lavender Gel. This combination will help to reduce down the irritation and help the skin to build up a resistance to the virus. Once the actual virus has gone the Vitamin E gel can be applied to the skin to stop any scaring.

A. Unfortunately our products are currently only available to order from the
Q. Do I have to order online, or can I send my order with a cheque? How much is delivery and how long does it take?
A. You can place orders on our website, over the telephone or by sending an order and payment to us in the post. There is no additional charge for postage; unfortunately we have to allow cheques to clear before we send your delivery out. We aim to dispatch orders within 48 hours and deliver within 3-5 working days.
Q. Are your products safe to use during pregnancy, and if so which would you recommend to prevent stretch marks?
A. With the exception of our Echinacea range all of products are all safe to use while pregnant, breast feeding and on small babies. The only reason we wouldn't recommend the use of the Echinacea range is due to the vapor of these products being very strong.
There is also a lot of information regarding the use of products that contain essential oils not being good for your while being pregnant, but due to the amount of essential oils used in our products being so minimal no harm would be caused from using any of our range.
The Gel best suited for helping to prevent stretch marks would be a combination of the Collagen Gel used as your daily moisturiser and adding in the Body Firming and Detox Gel as a mixture applied to all specific areas.
Q. Can you recommend any one of your products for blemishes and brown blotches on my face?
A. The best gel in our range for your skin would be our Vitamin E Gel, this is known to improve cellular activity resulting in smoother and healthier skin - the perfect moisturiser to re-texturise uneven or scarred skin.
Q. I have psoriasis on my arms andlegs, what gel do you suggest?
A. The best gel for Psoriasis would be our Propolis Gel, this gel would help take down the irritation, redness and itchiness. It works with the body's own defenses to build up a resistance to an infection, so used over a long period of time will help reduce the flair ups. The Calendula Gel would help more with open cuts and wounds to help repair the skin so this gel could be used more on the really open weepy areas.
Q. Can you please advise if the collagen used in your products is animal, fish or vegetable derived?
A.
The Collagen used in our SBC Collagen Gel and Collagen Bath Soak is a Yeast Extract whereas the Collagen used in our Collagen Shower Crème and Collagen Hydra-Serum is a Marine based Collagen.
Q. I have just received Propolis gel from SBC via QVC and it is much lighter in colour compared to my previous purchase of Propolis which looked clearer and light brown. I'm aware that it is a natural product so is this normal?
A. The Propolis used in our gel can vary in colour from each batch that is used; this can therefore alter the colour of the finished product quite considerably. So yes this colour change you have noticed is normal.
